Manual: Settings-BulkLoad

Get Started |Calendar |Locations

The BulkLoadFeature Settings control the algorithm and function of the Bulk Load mechanism, as follows:

Methods
A True (1) or False (0) Setting that indicates if you would like Bulk Load to dynamically extract the Position Method from the Options table if the Position Method is unspecified or not present in the input file (when loading Matches). Default is "0".
Positions
Specifies the Segments of the site that will use defined Positions entries to constrain the User from Loading or Updating Matches in the database.

Specify values as the individual Segment name in the general format of Positions=>{segment} [+ {segment} ...]. As an example, specifying Positions=>Assignor+Officer indicates that Database Bulk Load/Update operations in both the Assignor and the Officer segments will be constrained by the corresponding Positions entries.

Default is no specification, which means that the Positions entries will NOT constrain the activity.

Ranks
A True (1) or False (0) Setting that indicates if you would like Bulk Load to dynamically extract the Match Rank from the Options table if the Rank is unspecified or not present in the input file (when loading Matches). Default is "0".
Trim
A True (1) or False (0) Setting indicates if you would like Bulk Load to suppress (remove) Leading and Trailing blanks, Tabs, New Line, Carriage Return, or vertical Tab characters from the data values. Default is "0".
